Graham Batty

Hi Laura,

We arrived back last night and had a really good time. Our experiances were on the whole very good. When we arrived at La Roda we found first of all the staff were extremely nice and helpful and really made you feel welcome. The golf course was fantastic, scenery wonderful, the greens excellent and to end our day the bar staff and pro-shop staff were the best.

La Finca, I had played about 12 months ago and it was under going a lot of transformations. I could not believe the changes that had taken place. The course was challenging and kept you thinking all the time. Probably my favourite course.

Villamartin was in all honesty a huge disappointment. The club house toilets were is a severe state of dis-repair, The tee's and green's were very bare and patchy. Nice fairways and some beautiful scenery. Overall this place aws crying out for someone to come along and invest some money to upgrade it. It also did not help that we got some snooty comments from some posh upper class members (or they thought they were)

La Marquesa was slightly difficult to find, but once there what an eye opener. The only slight doubt came when I handed over the certificate for the game the starter gentleman questioned the certificate and phoned someone to question the validity of the certificate. Once this was sorted out, we had a really enjoyable day with an extremely challenging course in front of us. Again with a little bit of money spent it could be even better.
My only major disappointment was that I visited Campoamor and found it to be open and operating under normal conditions. When I told them that we could not get this course booked through yoursleves, they said that your company did not have an affiliation with them. We paid the full fee and played the course yesterday morning before we flew home. I must say it was a beautiful course with a lovely outside bar area, superb restaurant and a great pro-shop. This course was up there with La Finca and La Roda.

I will come back to you in the future and was very happy with your service. BUt I would suggest you look at the Campoamor situation very closely. It could have an adverse effect on you.

Once again, thaks for everything

Graham Batty
